When I was in Copenhagen I was invited to view the Cos a/w 16 collection. I absolutely love Cos - when I lived in London, I stopped by Cos in Westfield almost every day, to see if they had new pieces in. When I go shopping it's important to me to look for quality and detail - and Cos never fails to deliver just that.
It is high end of the high street and there are so many super cool and modest pieces in beautiful fabrics and with amazing details - pieces you can wear season after season and that you can easily mix. I have several pieces that I have had for years that are still some of my favourites in my closet - because they are such nice quality they last for years. I truly believe in buying quality over quantity and Cos fits perfectly into my minimal lifestyle.
The a/w 16 collection is amazingly stunning and very different from previous collections. I love that they play with materials and mix them in unexpected ways, so they look very high end and interesting. The silk chiffon top on the first picture is bonded with wool panels - one of my favourite pieces from this collection. The colours this season are beautiful hues of rich, dark navy, forest green, burgundy, intense blue and oatmeal - my new favourite colour. It is so beautiful paired with almost all colours. I'm absolutely in love with that merino wool v-neck knit! The mens collection is just as beautiful - I love that tweed coat and those matching trousers.
The looks are classic forms that have been exaggerated, so that the collection looks and feels very luxurious. Cos does layering perfectly - I'll show you some of the pictures from the lookbook soon.
