It's been so long, since I last did a post about fashion here on the blog, but I do miss it, so they'll be coming regularly again. Though I love interior and kids stuff - fashion is still a big part of me and I've been missing sharing my style, wishes etc. with you. I've had some requests on doing some posts about the capsule wardrobe, so I'll be doing a series of them too.
Since I decided to do the capsule wardrobe and cleared out most of my closet, I was left with mostly blacks...but as I'm longing for spring and the new ss17 collections are slowly hitting the stores, I'm all for bringing colour into my wardrobe for the coming season. My basics will still be blacks and white, but freshened up with blues and reds - maybe even prints...
Red is a colour that is going to be everywhere this season and I love it, especially in a coral hue that will bring out a nice tan in summer. Denim and light blue will also come back to my closet. I have some pieces that's stored away for winter that will come out again in spring, but I'll also need some more striped shirts and jeans.
For jewellery I'm still a "gold girl" - I wear my pieces every day and rarely take any of them off. Some of my favourites are RebeccaRebecca and Anni Lu and these two necklaces are high on my wishlist.
Ahh Gucci - I love my Jordans and will be sporting them all spring too, but also have a pair of the Princetown slippers on my wishlist. I absolutely understand the hype - they are SO comfy. The belt is also a big wish - will wear in in the waist of my kaftans and dresses - will look amazing with the shirt that came in the door this week from Bouguessa. - Will talk a lot more about this brand soon.
Printed t shirts are also still a huge trend and I love the white ones with either red or black text - still minimal, but oh so cool. I also have an idea of some I'll be doing myself - so stay tuned for a diy...
